日本語のすっかり上手になり、同じクラスの生徒達とも仲良くなって、今日の帰りも一緒です。
アイダホのご家族からの、記念品のご家族のサインの入ったアメリカンフットボールのボールと、メッセージカードをいただきました。
海外からの友人が同じクラスにいることは、生徒たちの外国に対する意識の敷居を低くします。
生徒達は、貯金をして、いつかノエルの故郷に彼女を訪ねると言っています。

Noelle (From Idaho, USA) spent one year as a high school student in our
school. She joined the second year of high school through the Rotary Club
Youth Exchange Program. Today was her last day at our school and she leaves
for Idaho tomorrow afternoon. Before she left, I received an American
Football “ball” as a memento from her family in Idaho and a message card.
She is quite good at Japanese now and made strong relationships with her
classmates and many other students.
I believe that her classmates will now have more understanding about
foreign countries and it’s people.
Some students told me that they will save money and visit Noelle someday in
Idaho.
